PIKEVILLE, Ky. - Women's basketball fell to host Pikeville in the Appalachian Wireless Classic, Saturday afternoon, 71-58.
Danae Cox led Bluefield with 18 points, while Tianna Crockett added 12 and Courtney Kendrick tossed in 10 points and pulled down six rebounds. Kierra Bell-Linnear had a team-high eight boards for the Rams.
Bluefield opens its home schedule Monday night, hosting cross-town rival Bluefield State. Tip-off is at 6:00 at the Dome.
