PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The Pikeville Bears used a third-quarter touchdown to forge ahead and hold off the Bluefield College Rams 20-17 in Mid-South Conference football action Saturday afternoon in Eastern Kentucky.
Bluefield took its first lead just before the half, 14-13, but the Bears took the lead in the third. A Rams field goal in the final quarter brought BC to within three of the lead, but the Rams could draw no closer.
