BLUEFIELD - BC runners took the top three spots in the Battle of the Bluefields at City Park, Thursday evening as the Rams claimed victory over Bluefield State.
Anisha Marshall won the race with a time of 19:49, Jordyn O'Saben was second at 20:24 and Katelynne Cuddy was third with a time of 21:57. Olivia Thompson finished eighth at 24:57 and Nicole Hamby and Nicole Benedito were 11th and 12th with times of 30:34.
Marshall and O'Saben both qualified for the NCCAA meet by surpassing the NCCAA qualifying standard of 20:50.
