Box Score 2 CLEVELAND, Ga. - The Bluefield College women's volleyball team picked up its first Appalachian Athletic Conference win of the season, beating Montreat College in three sets 25-13, 25-12, 29-27 in a triangle match, Saturday at Truett-McConnell University.
Ellen Johnson led the Rams against Montreat with 10 kills and
Victoria Chapman had nine.
Camry McCroskey had 33 assists and
Ashlyn VanDyke had 19 digs.
In Saturday's first match the Rams fell to host Truett-McConnell in three sets, 13-25, 21-25, 20-25. Johnson and
Mikaela Hurst had seven kills apiece, McCroskey had 20 assists and
Paige Fisher had nine digs.
Bluefield is now 7-11 overall and 1-7 in the AAC. The Rams host Tennessee Wesleyan, Tuesday at 6:30 in the Dome.
