In the opening game the homestanding Royals scored five runs in the fourth inning to seal the win. The Rams rallied for three in the top of the fifth but it was not enough.
Garrett Schilling and Nolan Soto each had a pair of hits for Bluefield while Matt Ferreira knocked in a pair of runs. Chaz Miller suffered the loss on the mound.
In the second game with Webber, Bluefield pitchers held WIU scoreless until the bottom of the seventh when the Royals scored the game's only run on a single.

At the plate Webber pitchers held Bluefield to three hits, all singles by Eddie Torres, Jordan Ackerman and Dallas Bacon.
