Box Score GEOERGETOWN, Ky. - The stretch of top 20 teams continued for Bluefield College on Saturday as the Rams took on No. 11 Georgetown (Ky.) in a Mid-South East Conference contest and fell 28-7 in the Bluegrass State.
The Tigers built a 28-0 lead after three quarters before Bluefield's
Cason Whitt connected with
Jareth Dandridge on a 74-yard pass play for the Rams' lone touchdown of the game.
Benjamin Brown booted the extra point.
It was Dandridge's first touchdown as a Ram and he finished the day with a pair of catches for 116 yards to lead BC.
Alex Martin rushed for 45 yards while Whitt completed 9-of-16 passes for 176 yards.
Bluefield, now 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the MSC, is idle next week. The Rams return to Mitchell Stadium on Oct. 22 and entertain Cincinnati Christian for Homecoming.
