Box Score BLUEFIELD, Va. – The Bluefield College Rams women's volleyball team's five-game winning streak came to an end Tuesday evening in the Dome, as Bryan College snuck away with a victory in five sets.
The Rams took the early advantage winning the first set 25-22, but then proceeded to drop the second 22-25. After taking the third set 25-19, Bluefield could not finish off the Lions in the fourth set, falling 25-15, forcing an intense final and decisive fifth set which Bryan won 15-5.
Lexie Mocarski had 13 kills, Kaitlyn Shaver 12 and Ellen Johnson nine for the Rams. Shaver also had three service aces. Lexie Austin had three blocks while Camry McCroskey had 48 assists. Ashlyn VanDyke had 14 digs. McCroskey and Johnson had eight digs apiece.
The Rams welcome Hiwassee College and Bob Jones University to the Dome on Saturday.
