Box Score 3 DAYTON, Tenn. – The Bluefield College women's volleyball team wrapped up a three-match weekend road trip with a win over Martin Methodist College, Saturday afternoon at Bryan College.
The Rams defeated MMC in five sets, 25-21, 18-25, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10. Freshman Camry McCroskey paced the Rams with 46 assists, 10 digs and a pair of service aces. Mikaela Hurst and Rachel Alley each had 15 kills while Ellen Johnson had 20 defensive digs, Ashlyn VanDyke 17 and Lexie Mocarski 13. Amber Taylor-Inge, Johnson and Mocarski had nine kills apiece.
Earlier in the day the Rams fell to host Bryan in the tri-match in three games, 7-25, 17-25, 16-25.
VanDyke had 21 digs, McCroskey 11 assists and Johnson six kills.
The weekend road trip began Friday night in Athens, Tenn., where BC fell to Tennessee Wesleyan in four games, 15-25, 25-19, 23-25, 21-25.
Alley had 13 kills for the rams and Mocarski had 15 digs.
Bluefield College is now 4-8 overall and 1-7 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The losses to Tennessee Wesleyan and Bryan both AAC affairs. The Rams return home to host Kentucky Christian, Tuesday night at 7 o'clock.
