MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. -- The Bluefield College men's volleyball team defeated Milligan, Wednesday evening, claiming the match 3-1: 25-12, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21. The match counts as an exhibition contest for the Rams, as the Buffaloes are a club program.
Matt Epperson and
Connor Holland provided 11 kills apiece, while
Chase Craycraft added 10. Craycraft also added 37 assists and three service aces.
David Gianesin tallied 17 digs to lead the Rams.
Daniel Griffin and Holland added 14 and 13, respectively. Craycraft also had a big night at the net, claiming a pair of solo blocks and seven block assists.
The Rams put down double-digit kills in each set, with 15 coming in the fourth and final set. Bluefield produced a .419 hitting percentage in the final set and hit at a .308 clip for the match en route to victory.
Bluefield returns to action on Saturday, competing in a tri-match with Cairn University and hosts Lancaster Bible College. Matches are set for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
