BLUEFIELD, Va.  – The Bluefield College football game against Kentucky Christian University, previously scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon, has been moved to a 7 p.m. kickoff at Mitchell Stadium.
Bluefield College moved its Mid-South Conference game to a later start so Bluefield High School could play its first round West Virginia Class AA playoff game against Weir at 1:30, Saturday. Initially, the Beavers were going to play Weir at Princeton's Hunnicutt Stadium.
"We are pleased to be able to support Bluefield High School and are thankful to Kentucky Christian University in agreeing to a later game time," said BC Interim Athletic Director Mike White. "The Beavers have had an outstanding season and will be able to begin postseason play on their home turf."
Bluefield High School is the No. 2 ranked Class AA team in West Virginia with a 8-1 record.
