Box Score BLUEFIELD – The 2015 Bluefield College football season came to an end Saturday night at Mitchell Stadium as the Kentucky Christian University Knights scored on a one-yard quarterback keeper as time expired to give the Knights a 39-36 win over the Rams.
The Rams battled back from a 20-7 deficit to take a fourth quarter lead. Marion Harris' 26 yard run with 1:44 left in the game gave Bluefield a 36-33 lead. KCU drove the field and quarterback Graham Johnson inched the ball over the goal on the final play for the victory.
Bluefield freshman Alex Martin had a superb game on Senior Night. The 5'10, 185 pound freshman ran for 248 yards on 23 carries and had touchdown runs of 41 and 19 yards in his finest game as a Ram.
Harris, playing his final game as a Ram finished with 129 yards on 18 rushes with two touchdowns.
Defensively, senior Ernest Moore had a season-high 13 tackles and Shaun Kolb had a career high 11 tackles.
The Rams finish the season 1-10.
