KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Bluefield College's women's volleyball season came to a conclusion Wednesday afternoon as the Rams fell in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament to top seeded Bryan in four sets, 23-25, 21-25, 25-21, 22-25.
Falling behind two games, the Rams rallied to win the third game 25-21, but the Lions took game four to claim the set and advance to the tournament semifinals which will take place Friday.
Camry McCroskey, a member of the AAC All-Freshman team, had 48 assists for Bluefield while conference first-team performer Rachel Alley had 14 kills. Ellen Johnson had 15 kills and 12 digs, Jasmine Morrow 10 kills and 14 digs and Ashlyn VanDyke picked up 16 digs.
Bluefield, under first-year head coach Buddy Gallemore, finished the season with a 13-19 record.
