LAURINBURG, N.C. - The Bluefield College Rams men's soccer team fell at St. Andrews University, 2-0 Wedneseday afternoon. The loss was the Rams' fifth in a row.
Oscar Hernandez had five saves in goal for Bluefield who is now 3-8, 0-5 in Appalachian Athletic Conference games. The Rams return to the pitch Monday in Beckley, W.Va. against non-conference foe Ohio Christian. The game was originally scheduled for early September, but was postponed when lighning caused a delay in the women's game prior to the men's contest and when the weather stabilized it was too dark for the men to play.
