Box Score MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. - Milligan College scored on a penalty kick in the 87th minute to tie the match and later scored in overtime to defeat the Bluefield College men's soccer team 3-2 Wednesday night.
The Rams scored first on a goal by Nikolai Solomon, his fourth in two games. The assist came from Erik Albarran in the 36th minute. The Buffaloes drew even in the 38th minute and the teams went to the intermission knotted at one.
BC retook the lead in the 48th minute when Florian Gleissner scored on an unassisted goal. Then in the 87th minute Milligan tied the match on Jonathan Colson's penalty kick.
Milligan scored in the ninth minute of overtime to get the win.
The Rams (4-9, 0-6) outshot the hosts 20-12. Bluefield returns to action Saturday afternoon at 5:00, playing host to Truett-McConnell.
