BLUEFIELD, W.Va. - The six-match winning streak of the Bluefield College volleyball team came to an end Saturday afternoon on the campus of Bluefield State College as the Rams fell to the host Big Blues 3-1 and later dropped a 3-2 decision to Ohio Christian University.
In the opening match against Bluefield State, the Rams won the first game 25-18, but then fell 21-25, 23-25, 21-25.
Camry McCroskey continued her strong play as a setter with 29 assists.
Ashlyn VanDyke had six digs and
Jasmine Morrow 13 kills.
In the second match against Ohio Christian the Rams fell 3-2. The scores were 20-25, 25-19, 25-15, 14-25, 11-15. Morrow and
Lexie Mocarski had 12 kills apiece while
Marissa Grice had 19 assists and
Channel Flores 18.
Hannah Amis had 13 digs.
Bluefield, now 9-10, returns to action Friday night at AAC foe St. Andrews.
