, Zac Russell-Myers, Kahlin Villines and Jacob Wright were all honored for their contributions to the program between games.

While the Rams' bats hammered out 17 hits in Friday's come-from-behind win, Bluefield was held to just seven in Saturday's two games while Cumberland's starting pitchers both tossed complete games.

Game 1
Saturday's opener began nearly as a mirror image of Friday evening's game. The first to hitters reached base and second baseman Sam Lind sent a shot over the right-center field fence for the Bulldogs' 3-0 lead.

With runners on first and third in the third inning, Cumberland extended its lead to 4-0 on a well-turned 3-6-3 double play.

The Rams' second baserunner of the game was Dan Copeland, who reached on an error, but for the second time a Bulldog double play took the runner off the bases and CU starter Jake Collier concluded the third having faced the minimum number of batters.

Cumberland continued to hit Rams' starter Kenneth Miranda in the fourth, adding three more runs on four hits and making the advantage 7-0.

Chris Hall, Ricky Coleman and Sam Lind led the Bulldogs' charge all day, combining to go 7-for-9 with five RBI along with five walks.

Will Kane came on in relief, working the final four innings for the Rams. But, CU added a single run in the sixth and then tacked on four more in the eighth for a 12-1 lead.

Collier went through 7.1 innings holding BC hitless before Copeland sent a ball through the hole between short and third. Chris McCollister followed with another single, allowing Jacob Wright to cross the plate, as he led off the inning with a walk.

But, a fielder's choice and line out kept the Rams' deficit at double figures and earned CU a 12-1, 8-inning win.

Miranda (3-5) took the loss, allowing seven runs on nine hits. He struck out two and walked two in his four innings of work.

Collier (5-3) took the complete-game, two-hit win for the Bulldogs.

Game 2
Following the Rams' ceremony honoring their seniors, BC leapt out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Lundgren sent his fifth home run of the season over the right field fence for the first run, while a Jacob Schober single and three-straight walks from CU starter Kevin P. Greene gave the Rams a 2-0 advantage.

Ryan Shockey, who claimed the win Friday night by pitching the final three innings, took the ball in game two for BC. After giving up just one hit in the first two innings, the Bulldogs pieced together a double, groundout and a single to cut the lead to 2-1.

Greene continued to settle in and moved through the third in order, before his teammates tallied two more runs on three hits in the fourth to overtake BC 3-2 and end Shockey's day.

The Rams stranded a pair in the fifth, and CU plated one more run in the sixth by taking advantage of a leadoff single. Justin Byrd was sacrificed to second, then advanced to third on a groundout. Another single plated the centerfielder for a 4-2 CU lead, but left the bases loaded. Despite having Lind at the plate, reliever Cory Niten got the second baseman to ground out to end the inning and keep the damage to a minimum.

Bluefield came to the seventh looking to once again create some late-inning drama. With two down, Tyler Timmer singled down the left field line and Schober followed on a walk. Wright came to the plate as the go-ahead runner, but was struck out by Greene to close the game.

Greene (6-1) allowed just three hits after the first inning, holding the BC bats in check for the second-straight game. He struck out three in the complete game win.

Shockey (8-3) took the loss, allowing three runs on six hits in four innings of work. Niten allowed one run in two innings, while Dylan Cole closed the game on the mound for BC.

The Rams wrap up their regular season next weekend, traveling to face Campbellsville on Friday and Saturday. The Tigers are currently fourth in the MSC standings, having been swept by Georgetown College this weekend.
