Zac Russell-Myers all went yard on Tuesday evening, as the four home runs helped lead Bluefield College to an 11-5 win over Emory and Henry College at Bowen Field.

Russell-Myers, Schober, Wright and
Daniel Copeland each tallied a pair of hits as BC totaled 13 on the evening.

The victory earns the Rams (22-10) the season sweep over the Wasps (8-14), while the four home runs are the most in a single game for Bluefield since last season's March 20 win over Emory and Henry which included five home runs.

After a scoreless first, the visitors jumped on the board first, using a leadoff walk and a pair of singles to take the 1-0 lead.

Bluefield answered in the second, marking the first of five-straight innings in which they scored a run.

Copeland singled to begin the frame, and with two out Villines sent his team-leading seventh home run of the season over the left field wall.

Dylan Cole, who came on to pitch the third through fifth innings and picked up the win, retired the Wasps in order in the third before Bluefield stretched out its lead.

Chris McCollister was hit by a pitch and
Zac Russell-Myers was walked to open the inning. With one out, Wright launched a pitch over the left field wall to get the Rams a 5-1 advantage. The shot was Wright's third homerun of the season against E&H, as he had a pair in BC's 15-2 win on the road, March 18.

Wright extended BC's lead even more in the next inning, driving in two with a triple to deep left field. Copeland followed with a double to make it an 8-1 game.

Leadoff solo home runs from Lundgren in the fifth and Russell-Myers in the sixth once again extended BC's cushion.

Emory & Henry came back in the seventh with three runs, scoring three runs on three hits. A double from Matthew Whisnant scored a pair, while the first run came across on a passed ball.

BC's final tally came in the bottom of the eighth, as Russell-Myers singled to lead off the inning. The designated hitter stole second and advanced to third on a pickoff attempt from pitcher Brogan Hoover. A single from
Jacob Schober led to the final score of 11-5.

Bluefield returns to Mid-South Conference play on Saturday, hosting University of Rio Grande in the series opener at 7 p.m. The series will conclude Sunday with the doubleheader starting at noon.
