Game 1
Six runs crossed the plate in the opening inning for the Rams. Tyler Rome began the game with a walk, while a fielder's choice with Chris McCollister hitting didn't work out for the Barons and placed two on with none out. A walk to Zac Russell-Myers loaded the bases, and a single from Schober plated the day's first run.

Wright then provided half the inning's scoring as he sent a double to left center and cleared the bases in the process. A Copeland single plated Wright, while the fifth and final hit of the inning came on a Villines triple which allowed Copeland to score.

The Rams added single runs in the second and third, using three hits in each frame to take an 8-0 lead.

Bluefield continued the scoring in the fourth, as Copeland fired a three-run home run to left field on the first pitch he saw.

Bluefield's sole run in the fifth came as the result of a bases loaded walk, while Timmer sent a shot down the left field line for a solo home run in the sixth inning.

Houchins retired the Barons in order in the top of the seventh for the 13-0 win.

Game 2
The Rams opened the game with two runs in the first frame. Sawyer McLamb kicked things off with a leadoff triple, and a McCollister sacrifice fly made it 1-0, Bluefield. With two on, Wright reached on a fielder's choice and Schober came around to score on a wild throw on the play.

Villines sent his first home run of the game over the left field fence in the bottom of the second, serving as BC's lone hit in the inning.

The Barons finally jumped on the board in the third, benefitting from a pair of Bluefield errors and cutting the lead to just one, 3-2.

With two out, a single from Schober and a double from Wright put the lead back to two runs, 4-2.

After a scoreless fourth, Russell-Myers led off the bottom of the fifth with a walk and a Schober double brought him all the way around to make it 5-2.

The Rams then exploded for 12 runs in the sixth, scattering six hits and also benefitting from five errors on the Barons.

Niten had come on in relief in the sixth looking for a save, but after the 12-run bottom half of the inning, Copeland threw the final frame to wrap up the game.

BC and OSU-Lima are back at it again tomorrow in another doubleheader, beginning at 1 p.m. at Bowen Field.
