Madison serves as the Head Esports Coach at Bluefield University, embarking on his first year leading the Rams’ esports program. Before joining Bluefield, Whisman coached esports at Graham High School for 2.5 years, where he made significant strides in developing the program. Under his leadership, Graham High achieved its first-ever VHSL playoff appearance, and he guided four different teams to the playoffs across various games. Whisman is passionate about building team synergy, fostering a growth mindset, and utilizing competitive gaming as a platform to teach valuable life skills such as leadership, communication, and resilience. He is excited to bring his expertise and enthusiasm to Bluefield University’s growing esports program.
