Jared Porter begins his first year as the Director of Athletic Business Operations at Bluefield University in 2025.
A native of Princeton, West Virginia, Porter graduated from Princeton Senior High School in 2014 before earning his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Concord University in 2019.
From 2019–24, Porter worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Resort at Glade Springs. In that role, he oversaw the golf department’s point-of-sale system, managed invoicing and budgeting, and organized tournaments and fundraisers.
In addition to his professional career, Porter races in Limited Late Model events and is the grandson of the late NASCAR driver Mike Porter, Sr.
He resides in Princeton, West Virginia, with his wife, Alyssa, and their dog, Caster.
