Previous Experience: Played two years of baseball at Nova Southeastern University … as a freshman he was 1-0, with a 2.03 ERA, pitching 13 innings and finishing with 9 strikeouts … his sophomore campaign he finished 2-0, recording a save, in 17 innings pitched with 13 strikeouts … he was awarded Pitcher of the Year in the South Florida collegiate league.
