Biography

Juan Almonte, originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, is pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting. He graduated from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and went on to play at Lindsey Wilson College before joining Bluefield University. Juan's athletic achievements include being named a 2021 Under Armour Preseason All-American and earning a spot on the MEC Academic Dean's List. He chose Bluefield for its positive environment and the professionalism the school offers. Outside of academics and athletics, Juan enjoys yoga, weightlifting, and spending time at the beach.
