Damari Young hails from Tappahannock, VA, and is a freshman majoring in Business Administration at Bluefield University. Damari's impressive high school career includes being named County Player of the Year, First Team All-County, Regional All-First Team, Class 5 First Team All-State, and a State Runner-Up. Additionally, he was recognized as an 804 All-Star and First Team All-Metro. Outside of his academic and athletic commitments, Damari has a keen interest in cars, fashion, and gaming.
