The Bluefield University track and field team concluded its 2025 season at the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament, capping off a year of growth, perseverance, and strong performances.

Head Coach Mark White was full of praise for his team, reflecting on their effort and results with pride.
"I was so proud of what this group accomplished this year! They had a great championship with PRs for everyone," White said. "That's all you can ask for as a coach, to perform their best when it matters the most! They worked hard, and it showed. I'm excited about building and adding to make this program successful!"

On the men's side, Dayson McMillian delivered personal bests in both sprint events, finishing the 100-meter dash in 11.24 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 23.34 seconds. In field events, Jaylen Holmes recorded a throw of 11.89 meters in the shot put.

The women's team also made a strong showing. Lana Hackler led the way with a 14th place finish in the 100 meters (12.62 seconds) and a 16th place finish in the 200 meters (26.72 seconds). The women's 4x100 meter relay team — comprised of Lana Hackler, Alayshia Griffith, Emily Spaulding, and Summer Ward — crossed the finish line with a time of 52.74 seconds, marking a solid close to the season.

With strong individual performances and continued improvement across the board, the Rams have laid a promising foundation for the future of the program.
