Bluefield, VA.- The Rams delivered a sweeping 3-0 victory against St. Andrews in their second AAC match-up of the season. This win marks their second conference game and second conference victory. The Rams displayed impressive efficiency, registering a team-hitting percentage of .406, with four hitters surpassing a .500 individual hitting percentage.
Mason Lloyd spearheaded the attack for the Rams with a remarkable 10 kills, setting the tone for the match. He was well supported by Kyle Pietrzak and Dakarai Williams, who posted 9 kills each. Pietrzak also contributed significantly on the defensive end with a team-high three blocks. The defensive effort was bolstered by the team's digging, led by Lloyd with six digs and Colby Mutter with five digs, while Benedict Somes orchestrated the offense with 24 assists.
Looking ahead, the Rams are set to face Tusculum University on February 11, 2025.
