ROSSVILLE, Ga. – Despite facing adverse conditions and a tough opponent, the Bluefield University Rams took on Bryan College in a three-game weekend series at Ridgeland High School. The Rams came out of the series 1-2, bringing their record to 5-4 as they look ahead to a promising season.
Game 1: Bryan 9, Bluefield 2
In the series opener on February 13, the Rams fought hard but fell 9-2 to Bryan College. Bluefield never backed down, with Nick Guerra and Moises Aristy scoring late in the game. Aristy also tallied an RBI, highlighting his key contributions to the team's offense.
Game 2: Bryan 7, Bluefield 6
The second game of the series was a nail-biter, with the Rams showcasing their offensive firepower and resilience. Despite a close 7-6 loss, Bluefield kept the pressure on throughout, nearly completing a thrilling comeback. Due to an error in the box score, detailed statistics will be updated when available.
Game 3: Bluefield 8, Bryan 5
In the third game of the series, the Rams roared back with an impressive 8-5 victory to close out the weekend. Bluefield's offense dominated, with contributions from across the lineup. Andres Vega, Sean Seale, Dylan Cutler, Aidan Brown, Juan Almonte, Ray Garcia, and Nick Stergiou each crossed home plate.
Ray Garcia played a pivotal role, driving in three runs, while Aidan Brown added two RBIs to power the Rams' offense. Tyrone Woods delivered a commanding performance on the mound, keeping Bryan's hitters in check and allowing Bluefield to maintain control.

They will take on Ohio Christian University in a three-game set, starting with the home opener on Friday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 22, with games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
