Leaders for the Rams: Dominating Performance Against Columbia College

On Saturday morning, the Rams returned to the court with renewed energy, defeating Columbia College in a decisive 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-16, 25-12). Before the match, they took a moment to honor the seniors from Columbia College and their own senior players: Joslyn Evans, Madison Rodabaugh, and Georgia Lewis.

From the start, the Rams set the tone of the match, demonstrating their offensive skill with a total of 43 kills compared to Columbia's 18. Defensively, they excelled as well, recording 9 blocks against Columbia's 7 and tallying 64 digs to their opponent's 54.

Leaders for the Rams: Head Coach Buddy Gallemore reflected on the weekend's events, stating, "After the tough loss last night, it took us a little bit to get started this morning, but the leadership of our seniors got us going. I thought we served better today, which helped get them out of system. We also blocked well with 9 total blocks—that's good for us. It was a great way to celebrate our seniors."

With this weekend's results, the Rams improved their overall record to 16-12 and 11-7 in conference play. They will take a few days to regroup before heading to Athens, TN, to face Tennessee Wesleyan University next Thursday, November 7th.
