BLUEFIELD – Tennessee Wesleyan, ranked second in all of NAIA and undefeated in Appalachian Athletic Conference play, swept a weekend series from Bluefield University. The Bulldogs won Saturday's game 10-4, then took Sunday's doubleheader 12-0 and 17-4 at Bowen Field.

Tennessee Wesleyan scored four in the first to grab an early lead. The Rams cut the deficit to one with three runs in the third.
David Meech had an RBI single,
Johnny Medina brought home a run on a sac fly, and
Brady Joslyn picked up an RBI on a single. Meech and
Max Aristy each had a pair of hits.

TWU pitchers scattered seven hits. Aristy had two for Bluefield.

Game Two
Tennessee Wesleyan 17, Bluefield 4
The Bulldogs took an early 4-0 lead. The Rams got on the board with a solo home run by Aiden Brown in the third.
Johnny Medina hit a two-run shot in the fourth and BU tied the game at four on an RBI single by
Kevin Torres. TWU closed the game on a 13-0 run.
Bluefield will host Pikeville, Tuesday in a non-conference game at Bowen Field.
