BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University Rams men's basketball team held the St. Andrews Knights scoreless the final five minutes of the game and secured a 64-50 Appalachian Athletic Conference win Tuesday night at the Dome Gymnasium.
INSIDE THE GAME

• The Rams struggled from the field in the first half as they shot only 31% and SAU led 29-25 at the break.
• Bluefield took the lead in the second half and with five minutes remaining it was a one-point BU lead, 51-50.
• The Rams held the Knights scoreless the final five minutes of play while going on a 13-0 run to end the game.
• BU shot 47% from the field for the game.

LEADERS

• Volante Carroll recorded a double-double with 15 rebounds and 10 points.
• Brandon Shields hit four treys and led BU in scoring with 12 points.
• Christian Bullock finished with 11 points.
• Kaleb Hewitt came off the bench to score 10.

• The Rams, now 8-11 in the AAC and 9-14 overall, host Reinhardt University on Saturday at 4 p.m.
