KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Bluefield University's Rams dropped a 7-6 game to the Reinhardt University Eagles, Wednesday at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament at Hunter Wright Stadium. The Rams will face Point University in an elimination game, Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Reinhardt scored the game's first run in the first on a single, two stolen bases and a wild pitch.
• Bluefield took the lead in the bottom of the first on a solo home run by Taylor Meaux, and an RBI single by Max Aristy.
• The Eagles tied in the second and scored twice in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead.
• Kevin Torres knocked home a run in the sixth to pull the Rams within a run.
• RU scored three in the top of the sixth to push its lead to 7-3.
• BU scored three in the top of the seventh to make it a one-run game. David Meech drew a bases loaded walk, and Clay Wisner followed with a two-run single.
• The Rams got the tying run aboard in the ninth but could not move it home.
• Bluefield out-hit Reinhardt 10-7, but committed two errors to none for Reinhardt.
