BLUEFIELD - Bluefield University baseball completed a weekend series sweep of the Union College Bulldogs with a doubleheader sweep Sunday afternoon at Bowen Field 13-2 and 12-5. With the wins the Rams improved to 9-0 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.

• The Rams jumped to a 9-0 lead after two innings and went on to run-rule the Bulldogs, the game ending in seven innings.

LEADERS

• Roy Tayman got the win, pitching the final 3 2/3 innings allowing two hits and striking out four..
• Ben Coffman pitched the first 3 1/3 innings and allowed four hits and struck out three.
• Taylor maldonado was 3-for-4.
• Eligha Lewis, Taylor Meaux, and Reece Genter each had two hits.
• Genter knocked in three runs, lewis two.
• Clay Wisner homered for the Rams.

• Bluefield scored four in the first and never looked back in the seven inning game.

LEADERS

• Ryan Voss got the pitching win working five innings, alloweing four hits and striking out eight.
• Clay Wisner was 3-for-4 with four RBIs.
• Eligha Lewis, Max Aristy, and Nate Cobb each had two hits.
