Buffaloes defeat Rams

BLUEFIELD - The Milligan University Buffaloes defeated the Bluefield University Rams 7-1 in women's soccer play, Wednesday evening at the East River Soccer Complex. Milligan raced to a 6-0 halftime lead. BU avoided the shutout when in the 82nd minute Bella Cox scored off an assist from Melanie Guerrero.
The Rams conclude regular season play Saturday against Point University at the East River Soccer Complex. It will be Senior Day. Ceremonies to recognize the BU seniors will begin at 11:45 a.m. and the match will start at noon.
