BLUEFIELD – The injury-riddles Bluefield University Rams women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference match to the Reinhardt University Eagles, Saturday afternoon at the East River Soccer Complex.
Both teams entered the match in search of their initial win of the season and Reinhardt jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first 19 minutes. Ryelyn Wells scored in the 12
th and 18
th minutes, and Mary Kate Williamson added a goal in the 19
th minute. Wells earned the hat trick fot Reinhardt in the 27
th minute and RU led 4-0 at the intermission. The final Reinhardt goal came in the 88
th minute on an own goal.
Reinhardt outshot BU 40-0.
Madison Price had seven saves,
Emily Ledford five for the Rams.
