Rams take series finale AND series from Milligan

BLUEFIELD – Baseball concluded its three-game series with Milligan University with a 5-4 win Saturday afternoon at Bowen Field. The win gave the Rams the series two games to one over the Buffaloes.
Milligan led 3-0 before the Rams scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. Milligan scored one in the seventh, but the Rams buckled down and kept MU from tying the game and sending it to extra innings.
David Meech led BC at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance. Ryan Voss pitched a seven-inning complete game to earn the win.
The Rams are now 7-6 overall and 4-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
