Rams battle comes up short at Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Men's volleyball hit the road Friday afternoon at Tusculum University and dropped a three-set decision 20-25, 22-25, 18-25.
Tony Martin led the Rams with 24 assists. Alberto Chiaparini had 10 kills and seven digs, and Colby Mutter also added seven digs. Eric Duron and Jariel Diaz each had a pair of blocks.
"I know that the score doesn't reflect it, but there were a lot of good things that came out of this match," said Bluefield College head coach Alfonso Alvarez. "We have been in a bit of a slump as a team. We are young. We are learning. I expect a huge jump and improvement here soon."
The Rams were to take on Erskine later Friday.
