BLUEFIELD - Bluefield College Baseball took the opening game of Sunday's doubleheader against Montreat College 13-7. The Rams put a four spot on the scoreboard in the first inning, and tacked on five runs in the eighth to gain the win.
Ben Coffman worked six strong innings to get the win for BC. Coffman struck out two.
Tyler Lowrey pitched two scoreless innings to close the game and earn the save.
Bluefield batters collected 12 hits.
Clay Wisner led the way with three hits and two RBIs.
Taylor Meaux had a pair of hits and a pair of RBIs.

Eligha Lewis both had two hits and knocked in two runs.
