Rams crush Carlow

MIDWAY, Ky. - Earlier Saturday morning men's volleyball snapped its losing skid. Saturday afternoon the Rams began a winning streak with a three-set non-conference win over the Carlow University Celtics 25-12, 25-12, 25-11.
"It is a blessing to make such a long road trip and pick up two victories," said Rams head coach Alfonso Alvarez. "It was one thing to watch, but it was something totally different to see the stats. We had a very efficient offensive output. That goes back to the work that we have been doing. I was excited to have the opportunity to give the guys some well-deserved playing time on this trip, and to come away with the results.'
Caleb Word had 32 assists for the Rams. Alberto Chiaparini had 17 kills and Devon Robinson 10. Terrell Boston had three aces and Colby Mutter nine digs.
