Rams joust Knights 109-84

Box Score BLUEFIELD – The Bluefield University Rams men's basketball team won its third consecutive game Wednesday night at the Dome, defeating Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Kentucky Christian University. With the win BU improved to 4-1 in both the conference and overall.
The Rams opened a 17-3 lead over the Knights in the game's first six minutes and never looked back. BU led 22-10 midway through the first half and was shooting the bonus. The Rams were in the double bonus with eight minutes remaining in the half. Back-to-back threes by Christian Bullock and Omega Stitt late in the first half gave Bluefield a 44-21 lead. The Rams led by as many as 32 points in the first half, went into the halftime break on top 60-26. Midway through the second half the Bluefield lead grew as high as 40 points.
Six Rams finished the game in double figure scoring. Jermiah Jenkins led the way with 23 points. Volante Carroll had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Trent Dunn scored 16, Wilcliff Senatus 13, and Bullock 11. The Rams shot 51% from the field including 40% from behind the three point line.
