Rams win!

LAURINBURG, N.C. - Loss avenged. Eight days after its season-opening loss to the St. Andrews University Knights, men's volleyball gained a measure of revenge, defeating SAU in three sets, 25-19, 25-14, 26-24, Friday night on the Knights' home court.
Alberto Chiaparini led the BC attack with nine kills and six digs. Leonel Fernandez and Eric Duron tallied seven kills each, while Colby Mutter had a team-high eight digs. Caleb Word had 31 assists.
The win evens the Rams' record at 1-1 and Coach Alfonso Alvarez was pleased with the team's play.
"After that first loss to St. Andrews we went to work watching film and making adjustments," Alvarez said. "I think that the guys really did a good job of listening and prepping for this match. All that was left to do was to execute, and they did just that. General Smith really showed up for us in a variety of ways, and our serving game was much stronger tonight."
The Rams visit Alderson-Broaddus University in Philippi, W.Va., Tuesday.
