BLUEFIELD - Four Bluefield College Rams scored in double figures and the team won its second straight AAC contest, defeating the Bryan College Lions 77-64, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium.
The Rams went on a tear midway through the first half. The teams were tied at 14 before Bluefield got hot and went on a 28-10 roll to carry a 42-24 lead into halftime. Bluefield's lead grew as high as 29 in the game, but the Rams controlled throughout enroute to the victory.
Jermiah Jenkins topped the Bluefield scoring column with 18 points.
Damauri Sexton followed with 14 and
Stanley Christian and
Niquan Cousins each had 13. Sexton had a team-high eight rebounds.
With the win Bluefield evened its season record at 13-13 and moved to 11-9 in AAC play.
