BLUEFIELD - Women's soccer put forth a strong effort, but in the end is was not enough as the Bryan College Lions nipped the Rams 1-0, Saturday afternoon at the East River Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half Makena Giles scored the game's lone goal on an assist by Mya Patel in the 48th minute.
The Rams got nine saves from goalkeeper Anna Flinchum.
