Milligan downs Rams

BLUEFIELD - Women's soccer returned to action after a 24-day hiatus, taking on the Milligan University Buffaloes at the East River Soccer Complex. The Rams battled, but fell 4-0 in the AAC match.
Milligan took a 2-0 lead into the intermission on goals by Danielle Calhoun in the 23rd minute, and Ashlen Burch in the 29th minute. The Buffaloes added two more scores late in the game in the 83rd and 86th minute, goals by Poppy Smith and Gracie Duncan.
Anna Flinchum had six saves in goal for the Rams, five in the second half.
