Baseball drops opener

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Baseball fell in its season opener 5-3 to Edward Waters College.
The Rams got four hits in the contest including a solo home run from Ozzie Millet and a double from Eligha Lewis. Joseph Cardona also knocked in a run for the Rams and Andreas Holtzer also picked up a hit.
Kody Gardere took the loss on the mound for the Rams.
BC continues its season-opening series in the Sunshine State with a doubleheader against the Tigers today in Jacksonville before wrapping up the four-game set with a single game on Sunday, Feb. 2.
