BLUEFIELD - Softball pushed its winning streak to three games with a 7-1 win over Columbia International University in the first game of an AAC doubleheader Thursday afternoon at Graham Rec Park.
Laken Sparks tossed a four hitter as the Bluefield College Rams broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning with the CIU Rams, scoring six times in their final at-bat to gain the win.
Riley O'Neal had two hits and
Haley Davis had two RBIs for BC in the win.
In game two CIU turned the tables and held BC to five hits, two of those by O'Neal.
The Rams are back in action as Brenau University visits Graham Rec Park for a Friday morning contest. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00.
