PIKEVILLE, Ky. - Niquan Cousins dropped in 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds, but the Rams fell to Florida National University in the Pikeville Tipoff Classic 98-80 Friday night.
In addition to Cousins' 21, Jermiah Jenkins and Brandon Shield each added 14 points and Jenkins dished out four assists. Damauri Sexton, in his BC debut, added 10 points and grabbed eight boards.
The Rams got 23 points from the bench and shot 46 percent from the field for the game. FNU shot 62 percent from the field including 47 percent from behind the three-point line.
