DAYTON, Tenn. - Women's soccer dropped a 3-0 AAC decision Saturday afternoon at Bryan College to the homestanding Bryan Lions.
With limited subs available, the Rams played with great intensity. Seniors
Taylor Bryant,
Megan Brandl and
Mattison Stokes led the team in morale and made their mark on what is potentially the last travel game of their college careers. The team in its entirety stepped up the tempo to challenge the Lions.
Abagail Key,
Abby Flinchum and
Taylor Cramer anchored the defense.
Farah Schweers, Haylee Duffey and Gracia Almandoz worked with the seniors to fight for control of the midfield while
Megan Smith and
Lindsay Gray added much needed energy off the bench.
Baylee Sheets and
Bella Cox were able to revive the team from the sideline with much needed encouragement. A miraculous shot by Brandl would have broken the shutout it was ruled a save.
Anna Flinchum played a miraculous game in net with nine saves.Â
