BLUEFIELD – Men's basketball took on No. 10 Union Wednesday night in the Dome and lost with a 74-54.
The Rams began the first half down against Union, who is ranked No. 10 in the country, 9-3within the first five minutes. Continuing on, BC was down 39-17 at the half.
The second half started off quick with the Rams working to bring down the deficit, however, due to an unforeseen power outage in the Dome, the game came to a halt with the Rams down 43-24 with 15:00 left in the game. After a 30-minute delay, the Rams were back in action against the Bulldogs.
BC continued battling but came up short against the No. 10 ranked Union Bulldogs. Leaders of the game for the Rams were
Niquan Cousins with 23 points and six rebounds,
Ty'quon Reid with nine points and three rebounds, and
Brandon Shields with eight points.
