BLUEFIELD – Joe Stacey had a pair of goals to lead men's soccer to a 5-2 win over St. Andrews in AAC men's soccer action Monday evening at the East River Soccer Complex.
The Rams got on the board early as SAU booted the ball into its own goal just two minutes into the match. Two minutes later Stacey scored his first goal, then four minutes later he added his second to give the Rams a 3-nil lead.
St. Andrews avoided the shutout when Ruben Vaca pushed the ball across the goal line in the 32
nd minute.
Abel Bogale fed
Kevin Stoffle for Bluefield's fourth goal in the 30
th minute and BC led 4-1 at the break.
The Rams' final score came in the 49
th minute on a penalty kick from
Duarte Ferreira and Bliss Obodumu scored SAU's second goal in the 58
th minute.
Sven Kleinhans had four saves in goal for Bluefield as the Rams picked up their third AAC win of the season and fourth win overall.
