DAYTON, Tenn. - For only the second time this season, the Bluefield College men's soccer team came up short in a match. Saturday afternoon the Bryan College Lions opened a 3-0 lead and defeated the Rams 3-1 in an Appalachian Athletic Conference match.
Bryan carried a 2-0 lead into the break and made it 3-0 in the second half. Bluefield got on the board in the 77th minute on a goal from
Joao Delgado, with an assist from
Joe Stacey.Â
The Rams fall to 11-2 overall and 3-2 in the AAC. Bryan moved to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
Bluefield will host Union, Wednesday at 7:15 in an AAC contest.
