BLUEFIELD - Two second half goals by Tennessee Wesleyan University sent the women's soccer team to defeat as the visiting Bulldogs nipped the Rams 3-1 at the East River Soccer Complex.
TWU took the lead in the 30th minute before BC's
Cynthia Brown boomed a long shot into the net in the 44th minute to tie the game at 1 going into the half.
TWU's Nicole Broderick scored both of her team's second half goals to lift the Bulldogs to victory.
Amanda Brown had four saves for BC who is now 3-5 overall and 1-2 in AAC competition. The Rams return to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Milligan.
